The beautiful wilderness and wildlife of Costa Rica should be protected for all residents of mother earth, and for all future generations. 

La preciosa vida silvestre y bosques de Costa Rica debe ser protegida por todos los habitantes de la madre tierra y por sus generaciones futuras.

 
80% loss of monkey populations due to electrocutions, in just the last 10 years, based on scientific studies carried out by Costa Rican biologists. That doesn't even account for other arboreal wildlife mortalities, including birds. Many of these electrocutions happen within national park boundaries. 
[  when we extrapolate the % from the study by biologists carried out from 1995 to 2007, which documented a 50% loss of monkey populations due to electrocution on the un-insulated govt-owned electric grid .. the % goes up to 80 %].
